Happy Monday!
Thanks to one of my newest followers, DC GOP Girl, I have received the Sugar Doll Award. The award is for a new blogger you have discovered and think is fantastic! You have to share 10 things about yourself. And then you’re supposed to pass it along to 10 people. I am very honored as she is also a NC girl. She lives in DC where I spent a year dabbling in politics as well, but just across the aisle:) Thank you DC GOP Girl! 1) I have 7 nieces and 1 nephew.
2) I studied Political Science in college and loved it!
3) I am not a native Southerner and am very proud of my Ohio roots but people think I am one of the most “southern” people they know.
4) I went to summer camp for 5 glorious years from age 13 to 17; while most people work during their high school summers, I played!
5) The longest and best job I’ve held is my part time restaurant hostessing job; 3 years as of 7/17/2010.
6) I can say I’ve met a President.
7) As social as I can be, my favorite thing to do is curl up on the couch with a good book.
8) I am a published poet.
9) I have an obsession with bags; tote bags, market bags, designer bags, you name it. I have way too many.
10) As I ease in to my thirties, I have a stronger desire to adopt a child when I get married rather than have one. So many children need good homes.
