~witnessed the breakdown of my parent’s marriage which led to a divorce.
~finished my class work for my teacher licensure, after student teaching I will apply for a license.
~realized that family can come in different forms than just the family you were born into.
~pushed myself to be a stronger person and stand up for myself.
~learned (and will continue too) that to be a great teacher, you have to put your needs on the back burner and put your students first.
~volunteered with a great organization and will continue to do so as time allows.
~started working towards financial independence; it’s a long journey but an important one.
~gained some really good new friends and reconnected with a lot of old good friends.
~cried and lost sleep over a presidential election for good reasons!
~found that working in a restaurant is the best thing I could of done.
~discovered an inner strength that I didn’t know existed inside my soul.
